HR Advisor - People & Business Improvement

Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing quality and commercially effective advice to employees and business leaders whilst empowering the Managers in building people capability
  • The role offers a unique opportunity for a HR professional to deliver bottom line results and contribute to Metricon’s ongoing business success
  • As the key HR contact for a select group of business units within Victoria, the role’s responsibility spans a range of HR activities and projects, including but not limited to assisting on:
  • Providing high level HR advice
  • Policy review and interpretation
  • Employee engagement activities
  • Performance management
  • Talent management
  • Succession planning
  • Project management of key HR initiatives

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline and have a minimum of 2 plus years experience in a Generalist HR role
  • This is an excellent opportunity for career oriented candidate with a pragmatic, flexible and hands-on approach
  • You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team orientation, and a demonstrated ability to work in a HR business partnering model
  • Additional pre-requisites include: knowledge of relevant legislations and industrial relations framework, exposure to Workcover (desirable), exposure to HR information systems (eg proficiency in Alesco, desirable) and advanced MS Office skills
