Estimating Team Leader - EveryOne

Lead an extremely busy estimating team, providing support, and setting team direction. You will promote a positive environment, always being approachable and accessible to the team.
Reporting to the Project Management and Operations Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
Allocating jobs appropriately, to take advantage of the skills of individual EstimatorsManaging purchase orders daily to ensure production remains within allocated time framesLiaising with the executive team, reporting on the status of jobs, workflow turnaround times, and intended strategies for workflow improvementsContributing to the development and documentation of appropriate systems, procedures and processes to achieve department and company objectivesMaximising efficiency in completing ordering of homesCalculating quantities and maintaining inventories for standard options to complement our product range, using Metricon’s Estimating Systems softwareAssist with responding to tender responses and EOI submissionsCreating a working environment and culture where teamwork and support for each other is paramount.

The successful candidate will have:
A Diploma in Building/Construction. An equivalent degree qualification is advantageousMinimum 5 years Building & Sales Estimating experience is essentialExtensive working knowledge of the construction process and proceduresExperience working with a range of estimating systems, as well as competency with Microsoft OfficeUp to date knowledge and understanding of building regulations and BCA requirementsExcellent time management and communicationRelevant experience in an estimating role within a time critical working environmentSuperior/highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
