Finance Administrator - Shared Services - Finance

If you are an Administrator with exposure to finance or currently doing a Finance Administrator role, this would be ideal for you.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Daily banking duties such as distribute bank statements, prepare bank balances, bank reconciliations. bank transfers/batches including scanning of all batches and verify all batches processed by COB each day
  • Handle the Reconciliation of Unknown Deposits/EFTPOS Deposits
  • Complete Weekly Reconciliation of Imprest Account (Permits)
  • Ensure adequate stock of Imprest Cheque Books and update Cheque Register as required
  • Liaise with the banks on items such as Credit Cards, Queries and Ad Hoc Tasks as required
  • Management of Company EFTPOS Machines; and
  • Any ad hoc projects as directed from time to time.

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience in a financial administration role with the proven ability to work in a volume business & fast paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with your work, and assist the team when and where required
  • High attention to detail and efficiency is essential
  • Accurate data entry, allocation and reporting skills
  • Ability to meet set deadlines with a high quality standard of work
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills and exposure working with database systems; and
  • A proactive approach to all tasks undertaken within a dynamic financial environment.
