Site Manager - New South Wales

In order to deliver the Metricon service standards, we are looking to further strengthen the Construction team by adding an additional Site Manager to our construction team! The successful candidate will be required to manage jobs in the Newcastle/Hunter Region.
Reporting to the Building Support Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the overall site performance of our home construction process;
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients during the build stage of the project;
  • Scheduling & coordinating trades on site;
  • Maximising site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability;
  • Continuously reviewing building practices and procedures;
  • Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices; and
  • Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount.

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or Equivalent;
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager in inner urban areas within the residential building industry;
  • Ideal role for a Builder, Bricklayer or Carpenter who would like to get off the tools - Trade Qualified Background;
  • Strong project management skills, knowledge of building regulations, WHS regulations and QA systems;
  • Experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades;
  • A customer focus, exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills; and
  • Knowledge of the local area and surrounds.
