Our team works across Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Queensland. Due to projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Planning and Permits Coordinator – Team Leader based in our Mount Waverley Head Office for our Everyone Homes team with builds based throughout all Eastern regions of Australia.
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager – Operations and Business Development, your responsibilities will include:
Leadership, People Management and Permits GeneralAssessments for regulatory, planning and developer compliance, including but not limited to siting, zoning, MCP and covenant complianceCoordinate/Manage Planning & Building Permit tasks and associated documents with the goal of achieving timely approvalResponsible for driving projects through each department/external contractor for a timely ACC/Site Start as per designated program/deadlineCoordinate/Manage external contractors to achieve optimum outcome a time efficiencyPrepare and manage Request for Information (RFI’s) documents, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, variations and project claims pre-site and onsiteManage an industry best practice Customer ManagementManage Workflow Management – Planning & Permits Co OrdinationComplete all required reports on a regular basis as required contractually, and liaise directly with all stakeholders and team performanceWeekly and monthly forecast and updates of PC’s, Contracts & ACC’s; andEnsure effective quality control measures are in place and followed.

The successful candidate will have:
A demonstrable / extensive knowledge of building and planning regulations – particularly in identifying and addressing pre-site design, drafting, and construction issues associated with the complexities of infill construction sites5+ years experience in the residential home building industry2+ years experience in Town Planning / Building Permit departments/applicationsTeam Leader in a volume residential spaceClickhome or Similar software knowledge preferableProficient in Microsoft Project MPP preferable and SharepointProficient in Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OutlookWorking knowledge of the following processes: Sales, Workflow, Drafting, Estimating (Sales and Production), Contracts Administration and Construction; andA GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
