This is a highly rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced and driven Draftsperson to join our friendly, hardworking Queensland drafting Team in our stylish Robina Office on the Gold Coast using Revit on our award winning designs and facades. Reporting to the Production Draftsperson, your responsibilities will include:

Accurately use AutoCAD and REVIT to prepare and complete architectural drawings within designated time frames

Complete checking on other draftsperson's work

Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer requirements as described in the sales estimate, as well as in accordance with building regulations and Metricon standards

Liaising with consultants, suppliers and internal departments; and

Maintain and constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes in order to complete work confidently.

The successful candidate will have:

Formal qualifications in Architectural Drafting (Diploma or higher)

Must have a minimum 3 years Australian AutoCAD and Revit Drafting experience, preferably within the volume residential building industry

A STRONG understanding of the residential home building and construction process

Exposure to and competent use of Building Standards and regulations

The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise and meet deadlines; and

Be able to implement a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken; and

A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
