Metricon Homes, Australia’s leading home builder, is seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Specialist to enhance our online presence. If you’re passionate about creating impactful content, identifying social trends, and building a meaningful connection with audiences, we'd love to hear from you!

In this newly created role, you’ll join our dynamic Communications and Engagement Team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver impactful content. This position will play a key role in amplifying the Metricon brand, deepening engagement, and driving growth across our social media channels.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Melbourne Head Office in Mount Waverley, offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to work closely with our talented team.

Reporting to the Social Media and Content Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing and coordinating the production of content for Metricon and HomeSolution by Metricon’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant channels

Actively engaging in social listening to identify content opportunities, industry trends, and customer insights

Creating original content, including short-form video, reels, static images, and written copy for social media

Collaborating with the broader communications and marketing teams to ensure social media content supports cross-channel marketing initiatives; and

Tracking, analysing, and reporting on social media metrics, including reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, and sentiment.

The successful candidate will have:

3+ years of proven experience in managing and executing social media strategies

Ability to produce clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, and messaging

In-depth knowledge and experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube

Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar

Ability to interpret data and social media analytics to inform strategy and optimise content

Strong time management and prioritisation skills to manage multiple deadlines

Meticulous attention to quality and accuracy in all work; and

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with stakeholders across multiple business units
