This is a highly rewarding and challenging Role for a REVIT Residential Draftsperson to join our industry leading Product Management team, located at the Metricon Mount Waverley Head Office.

Reporting to the National Master Documentation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Produce master drawings using Revit that comply with design and construction requirements

Prepare and complete working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections and details from the Design brief according to Company processes and accuracy standards

Prepare master plans to ensure they are available when required product release for new display construction and production requirements – including all facades and sales plans

Liaise with the Operations teams to ensure production of plans meet their requirements to produce customer plans according to the required production target dates

Ensure that drawings are forwarded to and received from external suppliers within the nominated time frames to enable completion; and

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company Revit software and company procedures associated with REVIT usage.

The successful candidate will have:

Formal Qualifications in a Diploma of Building Design and/or Drafting (or equivalent)

Must have solid REVIT Australian Residential Drafting Experience and be competent to jump on and produce

A sound understanding/knowledge of the residential construction process

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

Ability to keep up to date with technological changes

Must be able to demonstrate an ability to translate conceptual plans into final drawings

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A professional and proactive approach to all tasks undertaken; and
