Your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver technical training sessions to our people
• Assess trainee competencies on the job
• Work with managers to identify technical training needs of their teams
• Provide coaching and feedback to our people in the workplace
• Provide technical subject matter expertise to support the development of technical training materials; and
• Assist with the design and development of technical training materials.

The successful candidate will have:
• At least 5 years’ experience in the building and construction industry
• The ability to motivate others and deliver engaging learning to diverse groups of people
• Facilitation, consultation, communication and coaching skills
• A Certificate IV in Training Assessment (TAE 40116) and/or a qualification in building and construction (desirable but not required)

This position may suit the following types of people:
• A person with at least 5 years’ experience in industry (either in operations and/or building) who has a flare for building the capability of others through formal and informal training approaches
• An experienced industry trainer who is looking to work for Australia’s most successful residential home builder; and
• A specialised building and construction teacher from the educational sector looking to move into the corporate sector.
