Our team works across Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Queensland. Due to projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Production Draftsperson based in our Mount Waverley Head Office.

Reporting to the National Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Produce construction drawings using Revit / Autocad software including site plans, preliminary working drawings, building variations and final construction plans.

Manage external drafting contractors and provide regular feedback.

Produce required drawings to obtain all relevant permits.

Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy and check every job prior to each stage of the workflow process

Complete drawings within agreed time frames

To produce accurate plans for the energy rating assessor

Clearly communicating energy rating requirements via a workflow memo, prior to contract preparation

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company REVIT/AUTOCAD software and company procedures associated with REVIT/AUTOCAD usage; and

Liaising with consultants, suppliers and internal departments.

The successful candidate will have:

Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD

Successful completion of a Diploma of Building Design & Drafting, Diploma of Architectural Drafting or equivalent practical experience

The successful candidate will have min. 5 years residential (full-time) drafting experience

Experience in the residential volume home building industry

Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Working knowledge of the residential home construction processes

Working knowledge of NCC, ResCode and LHA standards

Working knowledge of how to interpret, utilise and incorporate developer guidelines, local planning requirements & Civil Services drawings

Basic Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills; and

A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
