This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Metricon’s Studio team located in our Parkside office.

As the principal Studio M point of contact and responsible for the Customers Studio M experience, the Interior Design Consultant guides and supports Customers through the home personalisation process, making selections for interior and exterior products and finishes. The consultant is responsible for developing an Interior Design scheme for their Customer, advising Customers on suitable product choices that meet their lifestyle needs in line with their budget, facilitating and overseeing specialist product appointments, pricing of and recording of selections.

Reporting to the Interior Design Consultant Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting & guiding customers through the home personalisation & selection process, including interior colours, finishes and fittings; kitchens and bathrooms; and street appeal and outdoor living

Maintain and constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes in order to confidently interact with customer; whilst exceeding customer satisfaction and sales targets

Develop effective relationships with key supply partners and actively promote their products

Provide accurate, timely and detailed paperwork through to the Customer and Operations team; and

Foster a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount, you will work effectively within a team and help create a positive culture with a strong desire for success.

The successful candidate will have:

Completed Interior Design qualifications

Proven ability to work in a high-volume customer contact environment, working with the general public in particular

Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities

Working knowledge of the building and construction process would be an advantage

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment

Intermediate Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK computer skills

Experience in using database systems; and

A GREAT ATTITUDE!!
