Due to an increase in construction projects in the Regional North Area of Victoria, we have a highly desirable opportunity to take up this Building Estimator role in our Kialla (Shepparton) Office. This is a unique opportunity for you to secure work with a market leader initially with negotiable flexible work arrangements. You will be responsible for works carried out in the building estimating.

Reporting to the Building Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

Troubleshooting potential site issues

Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner

Resolve ordering oversights and or anomalies when identified

Order amendment as required

Produce purchase orders

In all aspects and areas of responsibility, continually look at better ways to carry out our business

Assist other Building Operational Support team members wherever possible with feedback

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders; and

Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved.

The successful candidate will have:

MUST have minimum 5 years residential estimating experience or reasonable trade background is an advantage and have done quoting

At minimum a Diploma in Building Construction is essential, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage

Working knowledge of construction processes and details

Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel

Working knowledge of an estimating system (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage; and

A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
