This is a highly rewarding and challenging opportunity for a driven Autocad / Revit Residential Draftsperson to join our dynamic and supportive Mount Waverley Head Office team. This Team services the Home Solution, ABC Homes, Fastrack and Metinvest customers doing home and land homes.

Reporting to the Production Drafting Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Accurately using Revit / AutoCAD to prepare & complete architectural drawings within designated time frames

Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer requirements as described in the design brief, as well as in accordance with Metricon standards

Produce drawings to support the customers’ requirements while complying with all relevant covenants & council regulations

Ensure that relationships with all internal departments, external customers, suppliers, agents & contractors are maintained & improved

Maintain & constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services & processes in order to complete work confidently; and

Using your problem solving skills to resolve possible issues arising with customer jobs.

The successful candidate will have:

Must have a Minimum 2 years experience working with a residential builder as a Draftsperson using Revit and AutoCAD

Relevant Qualification - Diploma of Building and Construction or Trade Certificate etc. is preferred

Working knowledge of the building and construction industry

Knowledge of the Building Regulations

Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail

An interest in continuous improvement and a willingness to provide feedback to management

The ability to thrive in a goal driven, supportive team environment; and
