Possessing a natural ability to build relationships, you are a customer focused Internal Sales Consultant, who enjoys the confidence to build relationships initially over the phone. There will be travel involved as you will work with our potential customers, operating by appointment from our display centres across the Metro North & West region to show off our products and designs. Enjoy the flexibility of working a split of WFH, Head Office, and Displays by appointment. Instrumental to Metricon’s growth and leadership status in the industry!
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Gather leads through the Customer Engagement Contact Centre or direct through our websiteUnderstanding and assessing client needs and providing suitable solutions based on our designs and facadesManaging high volume queries, following up leads and achieving high sales targetsProviding customers with a first class experience, exceeding customer service expectations, andDeveloping and maintaining a network of industry partners such as land developers and local community providers.

The successful candidate will have:
Must be able to respond to phone/web inquiry quickly and qualify and develop relationships initially over the phone, with the ability to move seamlessly to face to faceProven experience in building relationships in a remote environmentAbility to attentively listen to understand the needs of the lead / clientWorking knowledge of the building and construction process an advantageThe ability to work collaboratively within a unified teamResidential sales is preferred but experience within a target driven sales environment is essentialA professional and innovative approach to creating new sales opportunitiesExceptional industry networking & customer service skillsWell-developed organisational and client management capabilitiesCRM proficiency and skills requiredExperience working with a range of IT applications and software; andA GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
