Incredible opportunity to work within our high performing Service & Warranty team handling customers in and around the Ipswich area, servicing our customers, maintaining reasonable 90 day servicing ability and resultant customer satisfaction. Work with our experienced Service & Warranty Team being scheduled to attend our customers who have moved in to their Metricon home.
Reporting to the Building Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Hands on role required to maintain reasonable 90 day servicing ability and resultant customer satisfaction
  • Thoroughly review customer raised items and scheduled works prior to attending inspection
  • Conduct inspection and carry out required works for New Home Service Inspections as per guidelines set down by Metricon to achieve a positive experience for our customers
  • Assess and evaluate all items on checklist inspections, while clearly explaining any disqualified items to the customer
  • Log and update all works via the mobile CRM for each service item, while providing concise notes as required
  • Ensure all customers receive prompt responses and follow up to ensure matters raised are resolved satisfactorily, and providing escalation where appropriate
  • Accurately document and report on common construction items found during inspections for product and build process improvement
  • Ensure that the relationships with all internal departments, external customers, suppliers, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • A trade background in the construction industry is essential ideally in carpentry
  • Extensive experience in a customer service/contact role is essential
  • Previous experience within the maintenance field is highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of Australian Building Codes, standards and regulations
  • The ability to read and understand plans and contracts
  • Working knowledge of the residential home volume building industry
  • Strong capability with time management, prioritisation and high quality customer service
  • A professional and proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
