This is a fantastic role for an experienced Building Estimator within residential, or a Carpenter who has done estimates/quotes, to work as a Building Estimator and commence your career in our Estimating team located at the stunning Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding the inner urban build area

Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders

Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum 3 years residential Estimating or Quoting experience OR Carpenters looking to get off the tools and become an estimator

Carpentry trade qualification, an Associate Diploma in Building Construction or equivalent construction knowledge

The ability to produce building cost estimates with the highest degree of accuracy

Proficiency in the use of Estimating Software or excel doing estimating/quoting and Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The ability to thrive in a fast paced, goal driven and dedicated team environment
