This full time role is for a passionate individual, who thrives on creativity, agility and commitment to excellence. Based in our Parkside Office, you’ll support the Team by providing technical advice, problem solving expertise, resolving siting issues, responding to customer queries and offering team leadership. You will provide design and technical support to the Sales team along with checking the sales documentation submitted is technically compliant. Produce all drawings required to support the sales process from deposit to commencement of construction using company BIM & CAD programs such as REVIT.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Assist sales and operations staff with solutions to their queries

Review documentation provided by the sales team

Review Planning requirements for the project and provide design advice

Ensure that all sales documentation passed to the Operations team can be worked on efficiently

Manage the development of Master Design Drawings, Site Master Plans, Landscaping Plans, Standard Electrical and Joinery Plans, plus any Standard Construction Details where required

Produce Production of Drawings using Revit

Manage individual jobs using 3rd party assessors to produce accurate energy rating assessments

Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer’s requirements as described in the sales paperwork

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s design and REVIT drafting software and company’s procedures associated with their usage

Provide pre deposit assistance to the sales team to secure new sales

Provide sales technical support in identifying training for the sales team

When required attend design meetings with customers; and

Reinforce the sense urgency to get the job done in accordance with customer’s expectations.

The successful candidate will have:

Competent in the use of company drawing/design software

Well developed communication and time management skills, with a strong ability to prioritise

Proficient computer skills and ability to use full Microsoft suite

Highly organised with the ability to deal with a variety of activities

Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the residential home building and construction process

Certificate IV in Residential Building or a similar/ equivalent qualification

Tertiary qualification in Architecture (desired); and

Extensive knowledge of state based building codes.
