Our team works across Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Queensland. Due to projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Planning & Permits Co-Ordinator based in our Mount Waverley Head Office for our team with builds based throughout all Eastern regions of Australia.
Reporting to the Permits Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Responsible and accountable for performance of Planning & Permit delivery , including client reportingBe instrumental in driving efficiency gains and continuous improvementAssessments for regulatory, planning and developer compliance, including but not limited to siting, zoning, MCP and covenant compliance Coordinate/Manage Planning & Building Permit tasks and associated documents with the goal of achieving timely approvalDrive projects through each department/external contractor for a timely ACC/Site StartHave the ability to diverse between Pre-site & Onsite tasks as required and directed by ManagementComplete detailed tracking sheets to identify timelines and actions within each projectPrepare and manage Request for Information (RFI’s) documents, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, variations, project claims and Early Works Agreement (EWA) managementManage a Customer/PM Management system from sales accept, contract signing and ongoing relationship management until job is provided to PCC team for onsiteManage and maintain Workflow Management – Planning & Permits Co OrdinationComplete and ensure all required reports are accurate and kept up to date; andEnsure effective quality control measures are in place.

The successful candidate will have:
A demonstrable / extensive knowledge of building and planning regulations – particularly in identifying and addressing pre-site design, drafting, and construction issues associated with the complexities of infill construction sites2+ years experience in the residential home building industry2+ years experience in Town Planning / Building Permit departments/applicationsProficient in Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OutlookClickhome or Similar software knowledge preferable Working knowledge of the following processes: Sales, Workflow, Drafting, Estimating (Sales and Production), Contracts Administration and Construction; andA GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
