Career-development opportunity for an entry level Drafting Cadet to join our busy Drafting team, located at our stunning Robina Head Office.

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating external drafting and engineering resources

Producing design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

Assisting in the creation of drawings and incorporate design amendments

Assisting other drafters with administrative tasks

Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy

Complete drawings to Metricon’s standards and drafting procedures

Adhere to demanding timelines; and

Provide innovative design solutions.

The successful candidate will have:

Unequivocal attention to detail

Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is essential

Completed a tertiary qualification in Building Design and Drafting, or an Architectural Degree

The ability to work under pressure within a fast paced team environment; and

Work experience within the residential building industry would be an advantage but not essential.
