Step into an exciting and rewarding Assistant Accountant role at our bustling Mt Waverley Office, where you’ll be a core part of our energetic and collaborative Finance team!
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management reportsProvide a detailed analysis and commentary on monthly variancesCalculation and processing of general ledger journals including accruals and amortisationCompletion of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsCoding of overhead invoices on a daily basisAssist with the preparation and lodgement of the monthly and quarterly BAS; andMaintenance of the Fixed Asset register

The successful candidate will have:
You will ideally bring proven Assistant Accountant experience, or be an Accounts Officer who is ready to step up and seeking a new challengeTechnical skills aside, you are a proactive and strong team player with a hands-on approach, results orientated with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentTertiary qualification in Accounting or FinanceThe ideal candidate will have commenced or be looking to commence their CPA or CA studies
