Contracts Administrator - Metricon Homes Qld.

Due to growth in the business, this full time role - located in our Stylish State of the Art Robina Office within the Pre-Site team - will see you providing administrative support; establishing and maintaining accurate documentation in order to assist in meeting customer's expectations. Whilst liaising with the team as a whole and external suppliers for documentation/orders.
Reporting to the Workflow Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Issuing Preliminary and Building Contracts in agreed timeframes
  • Accept and counter sign Building Contracts in agreed timeframes
  • Prepare Preliminary and Building Contracts ‘Essential Information’ document based on workflow memo from drafting and estimating
  • Ensure ‘Essential Information’ provides all relevant information to the Sales Consultant and customer
  • Projects as nominated by Permits Manager
  • Adhere to company procedures for the contracts functions
  • Provide an action plan for resolution of any issues from customers arising and follow up with your team to ensure each issue is addressed

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a time critical working environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Building Regulations and Rescode would be an advantage
  • Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
  • Working knowledge of the building and construction process would be an advantage
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills;
  • Some experience in using database systems is an added advantage; and
  • A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
