This ONCE IN A LIFETIME Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and optimising the procurement of non-construction (indirect) goods and services across Metricon Homes’ national operations. This includes categories such as corporate services, IT, marketing, fleet, professional services, facilities management, and operational support.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include:
Compile and maintain a comprehensive spend diagnostic for Metricon Indirect expenditureDevelop and implement process and procedures that enable effective management of Indirect expenditure and ensure best practice procurement is being maintained at all timesDevelop and maintain category plans for all Indirect expenditureDevelop a category review program to review and analyse existing categories and contracts on a cyclical basisAssess demand management opportunities for reduction in Indirect expenditureDeliver cost reductions and total cost of ownership value outcomes to Metricon; andBuild robust, mutually respectful relationships with all key stakeholders across various areas of the business.

The successful candidate will have:
MUST HAVE A Minimum 5 years experience in a procurement or category management. Ideally in IndirectTertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related disciplineExperience in construction, property, or manufacturing industriesStrong experience managing indirect procurement categories (corporate services, IT, fleet, professional services, marketing, facilities) in a large multi-site organisationProven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skillsExcellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities; andDemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business units.
