This is a fantastic opportunity for a Carpenter who has done estimates/quotes, or an experienced Building Estimator within residential, to commence your career in our Estimating team located at the stunning Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast!

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Producing accurate bill of quantities for builds

Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding the inner urban build area

Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders

Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

The successful candidate will have:

Residential Estimating or Quoting experience desirable BUT if you are a Carpenter looking to get off the tools and become an estimator - this could be the ideal role for you!

The ability to produce building cost estimates with accuracy

Proficiency in the use of Estimating Software desirable but not essential, along with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite

Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills

The ability to thrive in a fast paced, goal driven and dedicated team environment; and

A can do ATTITUDE and genuine passion for the industry
