Metricon is offering two 12 month Talent (Recruitment) Coordinator opportunities for enthusiastic individuals or graduates keen to build a career in HR and Talent. These roles sit within our Talent Team and offer hands-on experience in recruitment, with valuable exposure to Learning & Development, Workplace Relations, and broader talent projects across the business.

About the Role:
As a Talent (Recruitment) Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting Metricon’s end-to-end recruitment process while gaining insight into the wider HR function. Learn on the job, develop professional skills, and work closely with experienced HR and Talent professionals. Key duties include:
• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities including advertising, screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation
• Liaising with hiring leaders, candidates, and external partners to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Assisting with onboarding and pre employment processes
• Supporting Learning & Development initiatives and programs
• Providing administrative and coordination support on Workplace Relations and talent projects
• Maintaining accurate recruitment data, systems, and reporting; and
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Team.
About You:
We’re looking for motivated, curious, and organised individuals who are eager to learn and grow. You may:
• Be a recent graduate in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline or someone looking to transition into HR
• Strong communicator and organiser who enjoys people focused, team based work
• Enjoy working with people and building relationships
• Be confident juggling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Have strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Be comfortable using Microsoft Office and HR systems (or keen to learn); and
• No prior recruitment experience is required—we’re looking for attitude, potential, and a genuine interest in HR and Talent.
