This is a highly rewarding and challenging role for an experienced Display Maintenance Manager to join our busy team, maintaining display homes across the Melbourne Suburbs and Regional Victoria.
Reporting to the Display Home Building Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the highest possible standard of presentation is maintained at each displayTravelling to display centre locations across the Melbourne and Regional VIC RegionsEstablishing, implementing & coordinating a pro-active maintenance program which involves regular scheduled visits to each centreAssisting the display construction team with display centre modifications initiated from time to time to maintain market competitivenessInvestigating opportunities to reduce Display Centre operating costs and making recommendations for considerationEnsuring that all contractors adhere to Company OH& S proceduresDeveloping and maintaining a ‘Customer First’ level of standard amongst all staffInvolvement in additional projects as nominated.

The successful candidate will have:
Working knowledge of the volume residential building industry is highly desirableTrade background in the construction industry is highly desirableProven experience managing contractors within a fast paced, time critical and bottom line focus Working knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes and RegulationsEffective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across various teams within Metricon; andA good knowledge of company OH&S policies.
