Finance Business Partner - Shared Services - Finance

Acting as the bridge between finance and operations, you will deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting, feasibility analysis and commercial recommendations in a fast-paced, high-volume residential building environment.

Reporting to the National Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
Produce the monthly management reports for various Business Units in a timely manner and provide commentary on major variances against Forecast & Budget to Key Stakeholders within the Business.Partnering with Business Unit Managers to deliver monthly re-forecasts of sales, workflow and profit projections through to year-end.Developing annual budgets in collaboration with General Managers and preparing budget presentations for senior leadership.Monitoring and analysing cost drivers, including overhands and ETS reporting, and recommending operational improvements.Preparing feasibility analysis and land acquisition cashflow modelling as required.Contributing to innovation initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, productivity and business performance.Supporting ad hoc commercial projects and developing actionable reporting tools.Building strong relationships across Sales, Operations, Estimating, Procurement, HR and Finance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.CPA/CA qualification (or working towards).5+ years’ experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability.Experience ideally within construction, property development or high-volume residential building.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Databuild, Timberline, Dynamics or similar) is advantageous.Understanding of land acquisition feasibilities and cost escalation management is desirable.You are commercially minded, solutions-focused, adaptable and confident engaging with senior stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
