BIM & Revit Content Specialist - Shared Services - IT


About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled BIM & Revit Content Specialist to help shape the future of digital engineering, connected BIM and drafting within one of Australia's leading residential builders.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines strong technical Revit capability with a passion for BIM innovation, content creation, drafting excellence and user enablement.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Revit content, championing BIM adoption across the business, and empowering our Product Design, Master Drafting and Production Drafting teams to achieve greater efficiency, consistency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex design technology challenges, creating scalable solutions, and enabling others to get the most from digital design platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, maintain and govern a library of high quality Revit families and templates
  • Create both simple and advanced parametric Revit families for residential construction products and components
  • Establish standards, naming conventions and quality controls for BIM content
  • Optimise Revit content for performance, usability and future scalability
  • Maintain a centralised BIM content library and governance framework
  • Drive BIM best practice adoption across Product Design, Master Drafting and Production Drafting functions
  • Act as the internal BIM and Revit subject matter expert
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital capability development
  • Build a strong community of practice across Design, Drafting and Product Development teams
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to improve data flow and system integration; and
  • Support and optimise the broader Autodesk ecosystem.

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • You are a technically strong Revit professional who enjoys creating scalable solutions and helping others succeed
  • Advanced Revit modelling skills
  • Demonstrated experience creating high-quality parametric Revit families
  • Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards and workflows
  • Experience managing or maintaining BIM content libraries
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and train end users
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working within design, drafting or construction environments; and
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
