AI Implementation Lead - Shared Services - IT
Incredible opportunity to play a critical role in expanding Metricon's AI Practice by leading the implementation, adoption and value realisation of AI initiatives across the business. Working closely with business leaders, technology teams and external partners, you'll help identify and deliver practical AI solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, operational efficiency and decision making.
Based in our brand new Notting Hill Office with stand up desks, ergonomic chairs and free onsite parking.
This role is collaborative and business facing. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business to discover and prioritise AI opportunities, coordinate implementation activities, drive user adoption and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
The role will focus on AI opportunity discovery, implementation leadership, business engagement, change management, adoption, training and value realisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partner with business leaders, process owners and subject matter experts to identify, shape and prioritise AI opportunities across the organisationLead discovery workshops, stakeholder engagements and process reviews to understand business challenges and potential AI use casesTranslate business needs into clear AI initiative briefs, implementation plans and measurable business outcomesAssess opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, adoption readiness and data availabilityCoordinate the implementation of AI initiatives from concept through to deployment, adoption and operational handoverCollaborate with AI Engineering, Delivery, DevOps, Data, Security, Risk and Architecture teams to ensure successful outcomesWork with Microsoft, AWS, vendors and consulting partners to support implementation activities where requiredFacilitate workshops and working sessions between business and technical teams to align expectations, requirements and delivery outcomesDrive testing, user validation, communications, training, rollout planning and early-life support activitiesDevelop adoption materials including playbooks, quick reference guides, FAQs, training packs and implementation guidesChampion AI literacy and confidence across the organisation by making AI solutions practical and accessible for non-technical usersEstablish and support AI Champions networks to encourage adoption, knowledge sharing and continuous improvementTrack and communicate value realisation through usage metrics, productivity gains, process improvements and customer outcomesSupport responsible AI practices by partnering with Security, Privacy, Risk and Technology teams to ensure appropriate governance and controls; andCapture lessons learned, success stories and reusable implementation frameworks to help mature Metricon's AI Practice.

The successful candidate will have:
Significant experience leading implementation, adoption, transformation, business improvement or technology-enabled change initiatives in enterprise environmentsDemonstrated experience engaging business stakeholders to identify challenges, shape opportunities and drive successful implementation outcomesExperience coordinating initiatives across business, technology and vendor teams from discovery through to implementation and benefits realisationStrong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills, including workshop delivery and executive engagementAbility to translate complex technical concepts into practical, business-focused languageExperience preparing business cases, use case documentation, implementation plans, stakeholder maps, training materials and adoption artefactsExperience supporting organisational change activities, including communications, training, readiness assessments and adoption measurementPractical understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, AWS Bedrock and AI Services or similar AI and automation technologiesUnderstanding of AI implementation considerations, including governance, privacy, security, risk and operational support requirementsExperience partnering with technical teams including AI Engineers, Developers, Architects, Data and Security specialistsAbility to track and communicate implementation progress, adoption metrics, benefits realisation and business outcomesDemonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels; andStrong analytical and problem-solving capability with a focus on delivering practical, measurable value.
Desired Experience:
• Experience establishing or supporting an AI Practice, AI Centre of Excellence, Automation Practice or Digital Enablement function
• Experience implementing AI, automation, digital workplace, CRM, ERP, workflow or business transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Teams and SharePoint implementations
• Awareness of Microsoft and AWS AI services, generative AI capabilities, AI agents and workflow automation solutions
• Experience within construction, customer service, CRM, ERP, HCM, procurement or field operations environments would be highly regarded
• Experience working with vendors, technology partners and consulting organisations
• Understanding of governance, privacy, security and responsible AI principles
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead, influence and negotiate across multiple stakeholder groups; and
• Conceptual thinker with a pragmatic delivery mindset and strong problem-solving capability.
